All Metal Resource The Podcast: Episode 1!
Sorry for the lack of posts over the past few days folks, I was up visiting friends in Vermont since Thursday, so I really wanted as little interaction with the computer as possible. However, I am back and ready to unleash AMR’s very first music podcast! I have been tooling around with this idea for the past several weeks, trying to figure out how to make a worthwhile podcast with the emphasis on songs as opposed to news and random chitchat. It dawned on me last week that creating a show devoted solely to independent, up and coming artists who are probably thirsting to get their music to the masses would be an amazing way to create an entertaining, original heavy metal show! I figured this would benefit both a podcast structure with full songs, zero advertisements and of course, the full support of each and every artists we feature. Following this episode, I encourage both artists and readers alike to send in either song samples (if you are a member of the band), or suggestions to my email address at cody@allmetalresource.com. Now, with that said, this first episode will have NO commentary in it. This will feature only music, back to back, for nearly a half an hour. I am not sure if this will be my intention from this point on, but I will perhaps modify upcoming episodes depending on feedback and my own personal take on how this one came out.

Came out really well. I think I’d like to hear a little talking though, just to introduce the tracks and talk about the kind of music…cool either way. I really like the second track (from Prime Mover, I guess?).
