Miami - Avantasia’s album is incredible IF you are into melodic metal. Annihilator’s album debuted in 2007, but was released in the U.S. in 2008, therefore it gets kudos here! Norma Jean is not a band I am fond of, and from what I have heard form the Anti Mother on Sirius, it is absolute shite.
Carter - You’re right, I am a neglectful asshole who should be ashamed. I will update immediately.

Hey, Thanks for the feedback! Do you by any chance know “Metal Head” Jim Powell from the Baltimore area? Please give the Anti Mother a chance… Your website is great, do you mind if I add the link to mine? -miamicarey

Henrique - Death Magnetic was a shitty album in its current official released form, and I enjoyed All Hope Is Gone. Why don’t you talk about the many others we have in the best of column eh? Did you just come in to make fun of that particular opinion?

Ezra, what didn’t you like about Nostradamus?
I for one, thought it was great, as long as you had an open mind when you first listen to it.

Where’s Gojira-The Wall of All Flesh under the Best of 2008? Really guys? Leaving that album out is like…a crime against metal.

I actually simply forgot to add it to this list Tim, but you are right, that is a great album. If you check out the main page, however, I believe Cole or Nate did include it in their best of lists for the year.

Let me start off by saying that you certainly know allot more about Metal than me.. I listened to all of these albums and disagree with some of your choices. Avantasia -The Scarecrow? (Not!) Annihilator -Metal was put out in 2007.. If that’s the case, you should have Every Time I Die - The Big Dirty. You don’t have Norma Jean - THe Anti Mother? Shame on you.. I’m grateful that you have Black Tide -Light From Above, Miami Rules..
