Angelcorpse Break Up: -1 For Death Metal

“Due to musical differences amongst its members, it has been decided with much consideration to end Angelcorpse.” This is the official statement of the American death metal band. What the hell guys? Musical differences? You play bad ass brutal death metal, what more do you want? Saxophones? All I can say is its sad to see another pillar of the underground death metal scene fade away. Of Lucifer and Lightning, the band’s latest which was reviewed on AMR here, wasn’t the greatest thing I had ever heard from death metal, but it was a decent album. It was nice to here a death metal album with death metal in it. Best of luck to all of the guys in their future pursuits.
