Wilson - Thanks for stopping by, and great job with the album! Trust me, once this album gets out amongst progsters, I think you'll be getting many more fans.

Great review of the Dead Heroes Club album. I recently bought this album form Amazon.com and haven't stopped playing it. I agree totally with the mid-period Genesis and Rush comparison. My fav period of music of all time is from about '76 to '82 and I've always been on the look out for a band that can command the same feel as albums like Genesis' 'Wind & Wuthering' & 'And then there were 3' and Rush's 'Moving pictures' - I think i just found them with DHC - top notch songs are their main thing and i love the fact that they're Irish. personally i'd throw Pink Floyd into the mix of what drives the DHC sound, there's a 'wish you were here' quality about at least 2 of the tracks on their album. thing is they still sound original, there's a lot of influence for sure but i wouldn't call the band a copy of older bands, they're like nothin i've heard from a modern prog band anyway, too many of the new wave proggies try to impress with musicianmanship that has little to do with songwriting. anyhoo, enjoyed and agreed with the review cody. hope these boys will be on tour in the US soon, cause i'd be there
