A Backward Glance On A Travel Road

Anyone who knows this blog knows about my massive appreciation of the new French prog death metallers HYPNO5E, whom are poised to make a dramatic impact on the American market very, very soon on the Metal As Art tour followed closely by another tour. On top of touring and still promoting their debut release Des Deux L’une Est L’Autre, HYPNO5E have already started writing and recording for a new album (which sounds absolutely amazing so far). Impressive right? Well, wait until you hear about the “side project” that these guys have ALSO undertaken in this short span of time. A Backward Glance On A Travel Road is basically HYPNO5E without the heavy portions. The delightful soundbytes from old French film scattered amongst beautiful passages of acoustic guitar and vocals that are as mesmerizing as they are on in their main act. I don’t know where these guys came from, but they are bound and determined to open up the music world, taking no prisoners in the process.
